About

I am a graphic designer, photographer and researcher based in Portsmouth UK.  I am currently studying for an MA in Graphic Design and am looking at ways in which to  “curate the past” visually from personal collections of artefacts and information.  I am available for design and photography commissions and also undertake photo restoration.

I hope to be able to share with you interesting news from the design and photography world, along with my own insights into working as a visual artist and designer.

I hope you will join me.  Why not sign up to the feed so you never miss a new post? You can also find me on Twitter and on Facebook.

  1. Hi Paula,

My name is Emma and I came across your blog whilst searching for people online who I thought might be interested in completing my survey on image tagging in Flickr.

    http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Flickr-Survey

The survey is part of a funded PhD project at the University of Wolverhampton, UK. For more information please look at:
    http://cybermetrics.wlv.ac.uk/FlickrQuestionnaire.html

The survey should take 5 minutes to complete and please be assured that all responses will be anonymised.

All completed surveys will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win 1 of 5, Kindle e-book readers. There is also a further bonus prize of an Apple iPad.

The closing date for the survey is Friday 10th December 2010, and winners will be picked at random and notified via their Flickrmail accounts by the 13th of December 2010.

Even if you don’t want to complete the survey, please feel free to pass it on to anyone else who you think might be interested as we are hoping to get as many Flickr users as possible to give their input,

    Thanks for your time,
    Emma Angus

    • OK I’m happy to complete the survey – but why don’t you contact people about this via FlickrMail?

  2. Hi Paula,

Thanks so much for completing it. I have been contacting people via Flickrmail too – but thought it would also be a good idea to look for people with interesting websites and blogs aswell.

    Thanks again and best wishes,
    Emma
